Hereford, Tempranillo Malbec 2013 - Wine Review

Hereford!
No this wine is not from the city of Hereford, on the River Wye, in England, this wine is from the Maipu region of Mendoza, Argentina.
This wine was delicious!
It was big and meaty.
It's a lovely dark ruby colour, medium-bodied wine. 13% abv.
This wine tastes its age - young, but it's also delightfully smooth, good amount of tannins, and has a nice heavy mix of berries, slight bitterness of chocolate, subtle vanilla, and flavours of tobacco.

Hereford. Tempranillo. Malbec. Argentinian wine. Red wine. Wine.

Hereford is a lot of wine for a fair price, £4.99 on promotion instead of the usual £7.99, from the Co-Op until the 19th of November, or until stocks run out, which may be soon with this lovely bottle of red.

From the label -
Original Argentine flavour, pure Argentine wine, it means, HEREFORD soul. This wine has a deep red and lively colour with aromas of red fruit. Well-balanced in mouth, it is perfect to combine with traditional dishes such as red meat, cheeses and spicy cuisine.

Hereford. Tempranillo. Malbec. Argentinian wine. Red wine. Wine.

I prefer not to drink wines from Argentina, but as occasionally happens Mr.R buys wine without paying much attention to the nationality.
Anyway, despite not usually choosing to drink Argentinian wine, I tried this wine, by which I mean I drank lots of it, and it was very nice indeed.
Have you tried Hereford, Tempranillo Malbec 2013?
What did you think of it?
