Ask Believe Receive - The Power of Positive Thinking

I believe in positive thinking.
Positive thinking is a truly powerful force.
I believe in positive thinking. I do. I think I do.

I read this quote the other day, and I liked it.
''Desire, ask, believe, receive.'' - Stella Terrill Mann

Dandelion.

Find your bliss.
Be happy.
Love yourself - you deserve it.
Do you believe in positive thinking?

The Universe

The Universe Loves You ~ Love it back. _/\_

Peace

Peace

Without inner peace, outer peace is impossible.
We all wish for world peace,
But world peace will never be achieved unless we first establish peace within our own minds.
We can send so-called 'peacekeeping forces' into areas of conflict, but peace cannot be opposed from the outside with guns.
Only by creating peace within our own minds and helping others to do the same can we hope to achieve peace in this world.

Don't Worry ~ Be Happy

I'm a born worrier.

If I'm not worrying about something, I worry. ;)

This quote appeals to me ~

Worrying does not take aways todays troubles,
It takes away tomorrows peace.

My mum always says there's no point worrying. Whatever will happen, will happen, whether you worry about it or not.
I know she's correct, and I try not to worry, but I can't seem to stop.
I've been thinking of this quote every time a worry enters my mind. I think it may be helping.

Do you worry?
What do you do, if anything, to try and stop yourself from worrying.

Tea

Tea

You can't buy happiness,
But you can buy tea,
And that's kind of the same thing.

I see this quote a lot on various places on the Internet.

I like it.

Although it's not true, tea is not the same thing as tea, or even kind of the same thing.

It is good though, tea I mean.

And happiness, happiness is good, but this is about tea.

Tea is good.

This is appropriate actually, as I am currently sitting waiting for my green tea to brew.

I'll drink to that!

Do you like tea?

What's your favourite type of tea?

How do you take your tea?

Do you add sugar?

I don't.
I add honey.

Do you add milk?
I don't.

I used to have milk in my tea, but now I mainly drink green tea, which I like au naturel.

All this tea is making me thirsty.

I've just enjoyed a lovely mug of green tea, and if I wasn't quite so comfortable and relaxed on the sofa I'd make myself another cuppa.

As you may have noticed, I got slightly carried away messing about with various photo editing apps. Hehe!

I couldn't decide which photo to add to this post. Obviously.

So I added them all.
Well, almost all. I have a few more.....

On an average day, how many cups of tea do you drink?

Life

In the end, only three things matter ~
How much you loved
How gently you lived
And how gracefully you let go of things not meant for you.

I like quotes, and sayings.
This one is a quote I see quite a lot on various sites on the Internet, and usually it's attributed to Buddha.
Although I doubt it was said by Buddha, as it doesn't sound as though it would be something he'd say.
But want do I know? I never met Buddha. I'm old, but not quite old enough to have known Buddha.

Whoever said it, I like it. It's one of my favourite quotes, despite the fact that I don't entirely agree with it. Ha! That's me, contrary. ;)

Do you have a favourite quote, or saying?
