Hardy's, The Pursuit, Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon 2013

Hardy's, The Pursuit, Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon 2013

It was a warm day when we decided to drink this Australian wine, so Mr.R chucked the bottle in the fridge for a while before we opened it.
I think the main reason Mr.R bought this wine was because it was on special offer at the Co-Op. Haha!
It was quite different to what we usually drink, it had a strong herby taste, definitely rosemary, and initially it tasted a little like cloves too, and it was really fruity.
An enjoyable red wine, and as is usual with us - it didn't last long.

Not our usual tipple. But it was interesting, herby.

The blurb on the wine label says -
Thomas Hardy's pioneering spirit and passion for winemaking spans the generations and is at the heart of our outstanding range of Hardy's wines.

We have created this range of wines as a tribute to our winemakers' constant pursuit of excellence.

A soft fruity wine with flavours of dark cherry and plum with a hint of vanilla oak.
Great with beef stew.

Have you tried Hardy's The Pursuit, Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon 2013?
What's your opinion about it?
