Saddle Sore Golden Ale from Naylor's Brewery

Mr.R bought a bottle of Saddle Sore beer from Naylor's Brewery.
He said it was refreshing, crisp with nice bitter notes and underlying flavours of citrus.
I thought it was horrible.

The label on this 500ml bottle of beer has lots of information about it, including that it is specially brewed in Yorkshire 2014, in celebration of a stage of this years Tour de France cycling through Yorkshire, and it is 4.2% ABV.
It also says, This limited edition, premium blonde ale has been brewed and bottled to commemorate Yorkshire's famous French cycle race.
Following the maturation period, this beer is cold filtered and bottled. This process retains the sediment, without affecting the flavour of the beer.
To enjoy this beer at its best, it should be drunk at 10-12c.

There are a few words you may use yourself when toasting with a beer including
Sante!
Bottoms Up!
Now then!
Aye Up!
On Yer Bike!
Allez!

I'm a bit behind, ha! saddle sore - behind...
Anyway, I intended to post this earlier, but it's been sitting in 'drafts' since long before the Tour de France ended. It has finished, hasn't it?
Just writing the word France makes me homesick for our old life in France, which may explain why I hadn't uploaded this blog post until today...
Grrr! I'm rambling...

Have you had Saddle Sore?
Did you see a doctor? Ha!
No, seriously, what did you think or it? Love it? Or, loathe it?
