Azinhaga de Ouro Reserva 2012, Douro, Portugal - Wine Review

Azinhaga de Ouro Douro Reserva 2012

This red wine is from Douro, Portugal.
We both enjoyed this full-bodied wine, its fresh bouquet is Summery, and it's full on fruitiness made it a pleasure to drink. We could definitely taste cherry and raspberry, a nice amount of tannins, and a very long dry, oak finish.
As I've said in previous wine review blog posts, Mr.R buys a lot of the wine we drink from Lidl, and this was another of their bargain bottles. It was selling for £4.99 a bottle, or two for 8 quid.
